Catherine Christensen
Catherine began her career as a registered nurse in Alberta in 1988.
Catherine sharpened her skills as a registered nurse with fifteen post-graduate certificates in nursing care and has become a maternity specialist. Catherine has also held senior management positions with family care clinics in private practice.
Catherine has earned her RN from Red Deer College, OR and PARR certifications from the Peter Lougheed Hospital as well as her Adult Critical Care Certificate from the Foothills Hospital School of Nursing. She continued her academic pursuits and went on to earn a Master's degree from The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in 2003.
Catherine is active in a number of professional organizations including the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta, United Nurses of Alberta, the Canadian Law Blog and the Alumni Association for The College of William & Mary.
While treating every client with respect and integrity, Catherine provides expertise on all aspects of obstetrical care as well as private practice clinics.
Catherine enjoys sailing and traveling in her spare time. She is a licensed sailboat skipper. She also enjoys cooking with her son, the budding chef.
Melissa Zeelie is a Legal Nurse Consultant, consulting with firms that provide synergy services to Adult Healthcare related business. She consults with Lawyers from a variety of fields to help create stronger medical cases. She also does consultations for movie productions in the medical field. Prior to her current position, she acquired a 12 years vast range of experience in Adult Intensive Care, Cardiology, Surgical, Orthopedic units, specializing in the Critical Care environments.
Melissa worked at International accredited hospitals in South Africa where her last position as Hospital Outreach Nurse covered 470 ward beds, 108 intensive care beds and 29 Critical Care beds in the hospital; collecting data and investigated cases of patients being transferred back to the ICU and Critical Care Units. She shows pride in her work and made a difference in quality of care provided to her patients. She is very dedicated in her work and influences her colleagues to higher aspirations.
